FAQs

What’s for dinner?

1

We’re having street tacos! There are vegetarian and vegan options, and all of the tacos are gluten free! Guests will be called up in phases to order. The process should take the same amount of time as a standard buffet. In addition to tacos, there will be appetizers, sides, and dessert!

Here is the menu!

What should I wear?

2

The wedding will be dressy but not very formal. Think of this as a big party where we also happen to be getting married. Since we’ll be eating tacos, we don’t expect you to wear your fanciest fit—unless you want to!

For context, James is probably not wearing a suit jacket or tie, and you don’t have to either. Dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, etc. of any length are great. In terms of footwear, getting to and from the ceremony site will require walking through a grassy field. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and COOL :)

For Friday welcome drinks at Iron Furnace Brewing, the vibe is casual. Dresses and button downs are welcome but so are jeans and t-shirts!

Is there a shuttle bus?

3

Yes! If you plan to take the shuttle, we recommend staying at the Nootka Lodge, which is where the shuttle will be picking up and dropping off guests.

There is limited shuttle space ~to~ the venue but more space available on the way back at the end of the night. Please make sure you select the shuttle in your RSVP if you plan to take it ~to~ the ceremony.

The shuttle will pick up guests at 3:30pm to go to the venue, and then return at 10pm and again at 11:30pm to take guests back to the hotel.

Check out Travel & Stay for more info about booking at the Nootka Lodge.

Is there parking?

4

There is parking for up to 70 cars, so as long as you carpool with at least one other person, there should be room for everyone to park if they want to.

There is limited space on the shuttle bus, so if you feel comfortable driving, we welcome this option.

There is no curfew so if you choose to drive, you can hang out at the homestead as long as you want :)
