Stay

There is FREE unlimited tent camping at Wild Sugar Homestead! We think it would be so cool and fun if you camped in the field. WE (James and Mollie) will be camping!! There are awesome off the grid toilets for you :)

We also have a hotel block at the Nootka Lodge (info below). There are plenty of AirBnBs in the area as well, though these may increase your driving time, so just be mindful of how meandering Vermont roads can be!

  1. Nootka Lodge (25 min drive from venue) ~Cozy log cabin hotel~

    **The shuttle bus will be picking up and dropping off from this hotel, so prioritize staying here if you’ll be taking the shuttle. There is also ample parking if you’d prefer to drive to the venue.

    ** If you stay Friday & Saturday night, you’ll get a 15% wedding discount! Make sure to call and mention the O’Leary/ McElduff Wedding to receive the discount :)

Getting here

Flying

The most straightforward option is to fly into Logan, rent a car and/or carpool from Boston, and drive the 2 hours and 45 minutes to Newbury.

You can also look for flights to Burlington or Lebanon (most likely connecting through Logan), rent a car, and drive to Newbury.

Since Newbury is in rural Vermont, Uber and Lyft are not available, so renting a car or carpooling will be the best options for getting around. There is ample parking at our venue.

Driving

Newbury is located right off 1-91! It is a 2 hour and 45 minute drive from Boston and a 5 hour drive from New York City.

Wild Sugar Homestead is located at 1341 Tucker Mountain Road, Newbury, VT.

*Please note that you cannot travel over the west side of the mountain despite what Google tells you! You’ll want to make it to the east side of the mountain down Fairground and Tyler Farm Road (through Bradford, VT).*
